  • What is microblading, and how does it differ from other brow techniques?

Microblading uses a manual tool to create tiny hair-like strokes that mimic natural brows.

  • Am I a good candidate for microblading?

Microblading is ideal for normal to dry skin types. It may not be suitable for oily or sensitive skin.

  • How long do microbladed brows typically last?

Ideally should last from 6-18 months, depending on your skin type, after care and lifestyle.

  • What should I expect during the microblading healing process?

During the healing process after Microblading, you can expect several changes. Right after the procedure, your brows may appear darker and more defined. Expect some redness and minor swelling. During the next couple of days you might notice some scabbing and flaking. It’s important not to pick at these, as they help protect the healing skin. After scabbing the brows will likely lighten as the pigment settles in and the scabs fall off. The color may appear uneven at this stage. The following days after scabbing, the healing should progress, and you may see the final color and shape start to reveal themselves. Any touch-up appointments typically occur around 4-6 weeks after the initial appointment. Everyone’s healing can vary, so it’s essential to be patient and attentive to your brows as they heal.

  • Are there any activities I should avoid after microblading?

Avoid excessive sweating, swimming, and sun exposure during the initial healing phase.

  • Can I get my microblading touched up later?

Yes, touch-ups are recommended every 1-2 years to maintain color and shape.

  • Does microblading hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort. Most clients find it tolerable.

  • What pigments are used for microblading, and are they safe?

High-quality, hypoallergenic pigments are used. Your artist should discuss the pigment options with you.

  • How do I choose the right brow shape for my face with microblading?

Your artist will measure and map your brows to create a shape that complements your facial structure and features.

  • What are the aftercare instructions for microblading?

Follow the aftercare instructions provided by your artist carefully, as some instruction vary from person to person (skin). This includes keeping the area clean and dry, avoiding sun exposure, sweating and picking or scratching the area, and using a healing ointment.
